Game data: Score, difficulty level, rounds played, and game duration. This powers the leaderboard and your personal stats.
Guest play: Only your chosen display name and game result are recorded. No email required to play as a guest.
Contact form: Your name, email, and message when you submit an inquiry through our contact page.
Technical data: Standard server logs including IP address and browser type, used only for security and debugging purposes.
2 How We Use Your Information

3 Information We Do Not Collect

5 Leaderboard & Public Display
Your username and scores are publicly visible on the BEDMAS leaderboard. Your email address is never displayed publicly under any circumstances.
6 Advertising
BEDMAS uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

7 Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request complete deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@bedmas.com. Guest game data is anonymised and retained only for aggregate leaderboard statistics.

We use bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS encryption, JWT authentication tokens, and rate limiting to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable and industry-standard measures to safeguard your information.
9 Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in between sessions for a better experience. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels beyond what Google AdSense requires. You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.
10 Children's Privacy
BEDMAS is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has registered an account, please contact us immediately at hello@bedmas.com and we will promptly delete the account.
11 Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@bedmas.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of BEDMAS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
